I am interested in the area of organizational cognition. In my doctoral work I propose a model for organizational problem solving and relate it to productivity. I am interesed in understanding how problem solving can result from joint activities. How do people pool their intellectual resources to achieve specific goals? In order to understand what I refer to as shared cognition I plan to employ social network analysis and cognitive mapping techniques.
